Anders has covered technological and scientific developments for 25 years, primarily as host and journalist on the future magazine Harddisken on DR P1, but also in Videnskabens Verden and the TV program Viden Om, and on DRDK.

Today, Anders Høeg Nissen is an independent journalist, speaker, consultant and podcaster, but continues to focus on developments in technology and science, and on the opportunities and challenges of digitalization.

As a moderator, Anders is welcoming and committed, and has a strong focus on both the professional content, professional management and a good atmosphere.

Special interests
Anders has had a special interest in digital technology for many years – especially as host of Harddisken on DR P1, but also in his private life, where he geeks out with gadgets, apps and various digital projects. In 2013 he wrote the book “Det man måler er man selv” about self-tracking and wearables.

Anders originally took a bachelor’s degree in Literature and Modern Culture, but left university and the humanities to adventure in the world of technology.

Since the mid-90s, he has worked on everything from mobile apps, artificial intelligence and robots to surveillance, ransomware and cryptocurrency – and much, much more.

In addition to his focus on digital technologies, Anders has also done a lot of communication on scientific topics, including co-hosting the popular podcast RumSnak, which is about Danish space activities in both research and business.

In other words, Anders is fascinated by the possibilities of technology, but certainly not blind to the challenges and problems that come with it.

When Anders is moderator, he focuses on a high professional level, on a professional management of the program, and on creating a rewarding experience for both speakers and audience – naturally in collaboration with the organizers and the participants.

His starting point is a curious and exploratory approach to the material, and he believes more in conversation and dialog than in artificial conflicts and inflated debates. It can also be a bit of fun while you learn.
