She has reported from hot spots such as Afghanistan, Africa and Lebanon. She has spearheaded a number of the station’s major initiatives such as parliamentary elections and the program “The Year That Was”.

In October 2009, a billion TV viewers around the world watched as Lillian Gjerulf Kretz hosted the International Olympic Committee conference in Copenhagen. Together with her co-host from the BBC, she revealed that Rio will be the host city for the 2016 Olympics.

Lillian Gjerulf Kretz has organized documentary programs for both radio and TV – including the series “They Made History” with ten world leaders in the hot seat. The series was sold to a large number of countries. She has also covered national and international events live, such as the inauguration of the US President.
