Moderatorer der er kompetente i forhold til: University
When a moderator is facilitating debate sessions on the topic of university, it is important that they have a basic understanding of the university. And the life of the students, the functions of the university and its importance in society.
The moderator and moderator have an understanding of what a university is, its functions and its importance in society. They are familiar with the different faculties and study programs typically found at a university. They know the different academic degrees and levels of education offered, such as bachelor, master and PhD programs.
They also understand the university's role in research and scientific development. They know its links with industry, its collaboration with other institutions and its contribution to the development of society.
They are aware of current issues and challenges in academia. There are issues of access to education, funding, diversity and inclusion, academic freedom and the increasing digitalization of teaching and learning.
It is helpful for the moderator and moderator to also have knowledge of university policy and legislation, both nationally and internationally. Finally, the moderators ensure to create an open and inclusive debate environment where different views and perspectives can be expressed and where participants feel welcome to contribute constructively to the discussion about the role, challenges and future of the university.
