TV host, journalist, lecturer, and editor-in-chief and publisher of the major political magazine RÆSON. Since 2004, Clement has hosted a number of groundbreaking and highly topical programs. The first time we saw him in the host role was in DR2’s groundbreaking TV program, “Tal Med Gud” (2004), where spiritual leaders from small and large faiths in Denmark answered viewers’ questions. Since then, Clement has been the host on a wide range of current affairs programs such as Clement Kontra, Deadline, Debatten på DR, Clement: Fredag til fredag, Clement Søndag and Vi ses hos Clement.

Clement was the first recipient of the Hal Kock Award in 2005 for his contribution to the democracy debate and in 2011 he received the Publicist Award.

Special interests

Clement’s special interest lies in the broad democratic debate. In addition, international relations and especially American and European politics are areas where Clement has made his mark, among other things with book publications.

Clement is highly skilled at using sudden moments and at the same time ensuring that the schedule of the day’s program is adhered to. Clement can get the debate going both when the audience is a mixed group of professionals or when the conference’s target audience is a narrow professional audience.
